What sets Rembrandt's Auto Polish apart from normal detailing?
The big difference is we specialise in paint restoration not basic detailing. Rembrandt's Auto Polish will spend a great amount of time repairing extremely difficult paint surfaces that are scratched, scoured, have excessive 'spider' marks and buff marks.
Why do we charge more than basic detailing companies?
Simply because we restore paintwork to a showroom shine that cannot be achieved with basic detailing services. Many cars do not need respraying. Our system and service will restore paint and keep the original paintwork intact.
What sort of scratches and scour marks do we repair?
Any scratches that 'sit' in the paint work and are not ripped through to the metal can be repaired. We can even repair hair line scratches that have gone through clear coates, how ever these type of scratches will not be 100% like a respray. However the finish is so good that they are very hard to see without knowing that a repair job has been done.
What about repairs to acid marks form bird droppings and tree sap?
If acid marks have 'eaten' through the paintwork then the only option is to consider respraying the relevant panels. If the acid marks are only a few days old and have not eaten through the paintwork, then we can repair these panels.
What types of cars do we generally repair?
The only cars we do not repair are those with major panel damage or where the paintwork has broken down to the point of no return. Our customers are usually the type of people who take great pride in their vehicles and know the importance of maintaining their vehicles value.
